When you get given lemons, make lemonade! That’s the attitude of Jersey based events catering company Jersey Kitchen who, due to the cancellation of events due to Covid 19 restrictions, decided to innovate within their catering space.
Jersey Kitchen have been long established as a key catering partner for events, corporates and private dining clients across Jersey in the Channel Islands. After seeing their events order book suddenly reduce to nothing due to Covid 19, they have risen to the challenge and asked D3 Marketing to help launch a new initiative – Jersey Kitchen at Home. The same incredible food and service, just to your door.
First we designed a new website which included a full shop ecommerce facility linked to Sumup payment systems, allowing customers to order a range of delicious gourmet foods, grazing boards and platters.
Eye catching promotional campaign
The client innovated a new foodie promotion – ROUND THE WORLD – just because people couldn’t travel to their favourite destinations, Jersey Kitchen were going to bring those flavours and the party to everyone’s homes.
The campaign was hugely successful and ran for a year with Part 1 and Part 2 covering many fabulous dining destinations with meat and vegan menus. The events were accompanied by selfie social media campaigns encouraging everyone to dress up in theme and send in their photos. During Covid 19 lockdowns, smiles and fun were scarce on the ground and Jersey Kitchen created it’s own supportive community through their food.
The @home service was extended to cover the important celebrations during the year including Valentines, Burns Night, Mother’s Day, Christmas and New Year.
It was an absolute delight to work on these campaigns with Jersey Kitchen.
